2-Bit Palomino Awarded Texas Vocal Group of the Year for the Second Time!

2-Bit Palomino is a Trio of Houston Singer/Songwriters Andi Renfree, Ren Renfree and Bill Ward. Founded in March of 2010, 2BP (as their fans call them) have made huge strides and are quickly becoming a household name in Texas Music, and across the country. 2-Bit Palomino is the 2011 and 2013 recipient of the Vocal Group of the Year award from the Academy of Texas Music, and is currently on the US Americana Terrestrial and Internet Radio Charts with over 40 Stations across the country playing their music.

Each of the members brings their own flair and style to the group. Their music is a blend of all three coasts; West Coast, Gulf Coast and East Coast. This diversity lends to a very wide range of styles that somehow all come together to form a unified sound that is uniquely 2-Bit Palomino. 

The Members are:

Andi Renfree

Lead and Backing Vocals, Percussion, Harmonica, Kazoo

Andi is a world-class songwriter, originally from Louisiana, with many songwriting credits to her name, including a cut (The Buffalo Grass) with Chris LeDoux on his final Studio CD entitled "Horsepower". Andi has traveled the world as a singer singing with the USO abroad as well as with several groups here in the US.

Andi was also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year 2011 in the Texas Music Awards.

Ren Renfree

Lead and Backing Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele, Bass

Ren grew up in Southern California and has been involved with music at many levels since the early 80's. Ren was a nominee in the 2004 Orange County Music Awards for Best Acoustic Performer as well as a nominee with Andi Renfree for Best Country Song (Tulsa Tempest). Ren has played in numerous bands throughout his career and was partner in a recording studio in Orange, California called Studio Orange.

Bill Ward

Lead and Backing Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards, Bass

Bill is originally from Miami Florida and has a rich musical background. Throughout the years, you could find Bill performing the Main Stage at almost any Folk Festival in the country as well as some of the finest listening rooms. His vocal and musical style have made him a beloved musical treasure throughout the years.
