3/23/2013 - Texas Music Awards

Saturday, March 23, 2013 was the date of the 11th Annual Texas Music Award in Linden, TX. This is an annual celebration of the accomplishments of independent Texas Musicians of all walks.

This year, 2-Bit Palomino is pleased to announce that they have been awarded "Vocal Group of the Year 2013" by the Academy of Texas Music! We can't begin to express what an honor it is to have received this award and are very proud to have now received it TWICE!

2/26/2013 - Central States Tour

Final preparations for the Central States Tour are under way. The Tour begins THIS Saturday 3/2 with a sold out house concert at the fabulous Fritz House Concert Series in Houston. Friday 3/8 the trio will be at the Blue Door in Oklahoma City. Saturday 3/9 they'll be at Vala Gallery in Kansas City.

Then, the group heads up to Chicago where they'll play at Windy City House Concerts on 3/14, WFMT Folk Stage/Midnight Special show on 3/15, Uncommon Grounds on Devon on 3/20, and Heartland Cafe on 3/22.

They round up the tour with a performance at the KKFI 25th anniversary concert and fundraiser in Kansas City.

2-Bit Palomino is excited to play in these new markets.

2/15/2013 - New Videos in the works

2- Bit Palomino will be starting production on several new music videos in the coming weeks and months. These videos will be shot in two formats: High Quality Live videos and Traditional Music Videos. 

Videos will be launched on their YouTube channel and will be announced here on their website, as well as on facebook and twitter.  Stay tuned.

1/25/2013 - 2-Bit Palomino 2013 tours Scheduled.

2-Bit Palomino will be hitting the road in support of their new CD "Rides Again" which will release to National Radio on January 28th.  

In March, the trio will be stopping in Oklahoma City (The Blue Door), Kansas City (Vala Gallery & Knuckleheads), Chicago (Chicago House Concerts, WFMT, The Heartland Cafe) and more...

In June, they'll be heading through West Texas, Southern New Mexico, Southern Arizona, Southern California, Northern Arizona, Northern New Mexico and Colorado.

There is also a special "River Rafting" Trip down the Rio Chama river in New Mexico, August 23rd through the 25th, that will be for fans of the Trio ONLY and limited to 13 spots.  If you're interested in joining 2BP for this trip, contact them at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Also in the planning stages are Central States (Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana) as well as Southeastern States (Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana). Those tours will come in Late summer and Late fall respectively.

1/14/2013 - 2-Bit Palomino "Rides Again" is scheduled to release to Radio

2-Bit Palomino has hired Nashville Radio Promoter Bill Wence Promotions to manage the release of "Rides Again" to the Americana, AAA, Bluegrass and NPR radio formats. We're looking forward to a great working relationship with Bill and are hoping for GREAT results on the charts!

10/22/2012 - 2-Bit Palomino ships pre-release orders of their new CD "Rides Again"

2-Bit Palomino's sophomore CD "Rides Again" has shipped, and pre-order purchases are now being fulfilled.  

This CD marks the Trio's 2nd CD together, and is full of wonderful songs and melodies, all crafted to highlight their beautiful vocal harmonies. This CD also features 2 guest performances by the fabulous Lloyd Maines on pedal steel guitar.

The aim of this CD was to provide the listener with a more "authentic" listening experience. Bill, Andi and Ren all wanted to make sure that what you hear in a live experience, translates to this CD. They've reached their expectations. 

"Rides Again" is a beautifully crafted CD with songs that will move you and make you think. The Production is sparse and yet very rich and full at the same time.

9/24/2012 - CD PRE-RELEASE SALES ANNOUNCED

2-Bit Palomino announces the opening of "Pre-Release" sales of it's upcoming, as yet untitled, CD. You can order just the CD, the CD Autographed by the Trio, or The AutoGraphed CD with a "Limited Edition" Gift created by our friends at Walker Designs!  These items are indeed limited and will not be recreated for the general public. To purchase your Pre-Sale CD, simply go to the left margin of this website and click the "Buy Now" button for the item you wish to order. Then, as soon as the CDs are back from the manufacturer, they will be packaged and shipped off to you before ANYONE else gets them!

They have also announced the release date for the CD as November 2nd.  There will be two CD release parties in the Houston area. November 3rd at JP Hops House in Houston, TX, and Sunday November 4th at The Bernhardt Winery in Plantersville, TX. Check our list of events for more information on times and locatioins.

9/28/2012 - 2-Bit Palomino will be playing at The Bugle Boy in La Grange, TX at 8pm Central. This will be their second appearance at this incredible listening room. If you haven't been to The Bugle Boy, or if you haven't heard 2-Bit Palomino there, you owe it to yourself to get on down there on the 28th.

8/20/2012 - 2-Bit Palomino signs the Official Endorsement Agreement for Ayers Instruments Intl., Inc.  This agreement is a great advancement for 2-Bit Palomino, and will help The Ayers Brand (predominantly in Europe and Australia) expand their reach into the US Market. From their website: "Differing from nearly every other major guitar manufacturer, Ayers guitars are ALL completely handmade. There is no CNC machinery in the Ayers factory. 8/18/2012 - We are all stunned and saddened today at the loss of a great man, singer, songwriter and friend. Saylor White lost his battle to cancer this morning at 1:15 am. Our love, prayers and condolences go out to all of his family and friends. Saylor, you were a shining light in a cold dark night! Thank you for your love and friendship! Sail on!
